Job summary

You will manage a team of salaried and hourly staff, own the plant’s P&L performance, ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules, and partner with the union and leadership to meet business goals. Strong lean and continuous improvement experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Experience in at least three of: hourly supervision, quality or engineering, maintenance, HR, or operations management.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe workplace by complying with safety and environmental rules.
• Lead and manage the operations team, set goals, and conduct performance reviews.
• Own P&L performance, analyze costs, margins, and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to labor agreements and plant policies.
• Act as a company representative and leader for performance initiatives.
• Oversee Quality Management System processes for manufacturing and delivery.
• Align operations with customer requirements and optimize capacity and methods.
• Drive lean improvements and maintain clear cross-functional communication.
• Ensure compliance with laws and corporate policies.
