Job summary

Hyperion Materials & Technologies is seeking a Value Stream Supervisor to direct all Value Streams and support operations on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role focuses on achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals while developing associates for upward mobility.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership in a manufacturing setting, applies LEAN principles, and partners with EHS and Plant Management to maintain an accident-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Requirements include a B.S. degree in an appropriate discipline.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Associates: set expectations, monitor results, coach and discipline.
• Maintain staffing levels by recruiting, orienting, and training employees.
• Partner with EHS and Plant Management to lead safety culture.
• Ensure activities align with company values and policies.
• Evaluate and redesign processes to meet customer expectations.
• Apply LEAN principles to improve business and customer outcomes.
• Lead Value Stream with participative management; develop leadership in team.
• Plan department operations to meet delivery dates per production scheduling.
• Hold regular meetings with Value Stream team to address problems and countermeasures.
