Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Value Stream Manager to own and optimize a complete value stream in a manufacturing setting. You will lead production supervisors and front-line teams, driving daily management, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement to meet EH&S, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Responsibilities include staffing strategy, line balancing, and collaboration with Materials, Quality and Engineering on production planning and new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years manufacturing experience with 3+ years leading production and front-line teams.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance of the assigned value stream, delivering EH&S, quality, delivery, inventory and cost targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and front-line teams; manage staffing and skills plan.
• Drive value stream mapping and Lean initiatives (standard work, SMED, pull systems, kaizen) to eliminate waste and improve flow.
• Own daily management (tiered accountability meetings, SQDC boards) and rapid problem-solving on the floor.
• Partner with Materials, Quality and Engineering on production planning, line balancing and new product introduction.
• Manage productivity, OEE, labor efficiency and adherence-to-plan for the value stream.
• Lead root-cause problem-solving (8D) and drive sustainable corrective actions.
• Champion a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement.
