Job summary

Crane Pumps & Systems Inc. is hiring a Value Stream Team Leader in Piqua, Ohio to manage warehousing, machining, material handling, assembling and testing operations within the value stream. You will coordinate activities to meet customer demand with emphasis on cost, safety and quality.

You will own the KPI board, monitor daily performance, and drive 5S, standard work, and cross-training across shifts while leading Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing operations and value stream concepts.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic troubleshooting and root cause identification capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and cells.
• Strong sense of urgency and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages the KPI board.
• Monitors performance board at least hourly.
• Ensures 5S standards are adhered to in area.
• Manages team assignments based on absences.
• Leads cell huddles and kaizen events.
• Coordinates training and cross-training across teams.
• Oversees shift start-up, readiness of machines/tools/fixtures.
• Ensures standardized work is followed (LPA).
• Drives continuous improvement and root cause elimination.
