Job summary

Generac is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead daily operations and continuous improvement across the value stream in Belvidere, IL. You will drive Lean initiatives, implement the Generac Manufacturing System, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly metric goals.

The role requires 5 years in operations/lean management, strong leadership, and experience with SAP/ERP and PFEP planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent experience.
5 years progressive operations or lean management experience.
3 years of demonstrated Lean implementation experience preferred.
Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system and PFEP principles.

Responsibilities

Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
Implement Generac Manufacturing System (GMS) to ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and coach the team, align objectives with company strategy, and manage performance and succession planning.
Use PDCA with MDI to deliver metric results in people, safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Facilitate cross-functional communication and drive continuous improvement across the value stream.
