Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Data Scientist for the VALUE team to transform data into actionable insights and AI-enabled capabilities. You will analyze structured and unstructured data, build statistical and machine learning solutions, and communicate findings through visualizations and reports.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Analysts to identify opportunities where data and AI improve decision-making, automate workflows, and create measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a data-focused field.
• 3+ years in data science, analytics, or ML roles.
• Experience with Python for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience in Agile product/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statistical and ML models aligned with VALUE business objectives.
• Apply predictive analytics, classification, forecasting, clustering, and recommendations.
• Communicate findings with clear visualizations and dashboards to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate questions into analytical solutions.
