Oak Street Health is hiring a Primary Care Physician in Newark, NJ to deliver equitable, value-based healthcare to local Medicare populations. You will work within a neighborhood primary care center supported by a large care team to focus on quality outcomes rather than volume.

Qualifications

Must hold MD or DO and be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (or eligible).
Active, unrestricted state medical license in the US and DEA registration are required.
US work authorization is required to practice.

Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose patients at local clinics.
Oversee, direct, and administer primary care.
Prescribe and manage medications.
Maintain patient EMR data in Canopy and Greenway.
Collaborate with leadership to meet health quality goals.
Work with Practice Managers to direct the center care team.
Other duties as assigned.
