Job summary

Oak Street Health in Newark, NJ seeks a Primary Care Physician to deliver equitable, value-based care to local Medicare patients. The physician operates within a neighborhood primary care center supported by a large care team, focusing on quality outcomes over volume.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification (or board-eligible)
• Active, unrestricted State License
• Active DEA license
• US work authorization required

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients at our local clinics
• Oversee, direct, and administer primary care
• Prescribe and administer pharmaceutical treatments and medication
• Maintain Patient EMR data via canopy and greenway
• Collaborate with leadership to meet health quality goals
• Work with Practice Managers to direct and manage the center care team
• Other duties as assigned
