Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking a Value Based Analyst to develop and document reports, financial models, and processes supporting value-based care initiatives. You will create metrics, analyze data, and help leaders make informed decisions, with audits and compliance in scope.

The ideal candidate will reside within driving distance of the Omaha office, enjoy remote flexibility, and be able to travel to headquarters as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, analytics, business, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare environment, value-based care experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Agile project delivery methodology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
• Excellent collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with alternative payment models and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports to track and analyze metrics under value-based contracts.
• Enhance business processes, contracts, and program data for value-based care.
• Create financial models and solutions to support initiatives.
• Monitor value-based care financial payments and program performance.
• Present results to management and update dashboards for leaders.
• Build relationships with Providers, Clinicians, Vendors, and Auditors.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with standards.
• Keep knowledge current on policies/regulations affecting value-based care.
