Job summary

Cedar Gate Technologies, an IQVIA business, seeks a Billing Manager, Value-Based Care Operations to lead the billing function for a portfolio of specialty care provider clients, drive revenue cycle performance, and oversee a team of Billing Coordinators, ensuring strong financial results.

You will collaborate with coding, credentialing, operations, finance, and client service teams to optimize reimbursement, reduce AR aging, and support bundled payment initiatives in a growing value-based care

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare reimbursement.
• Demonstrated leadership of billing, collections, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle teams.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and managed care reimbursement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional billing operations: claim submission, payment posting, denial management, appeals, AR follow-up.
• Coach and develop billing staff through hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Collections Manager to optimize revenue cycle performance and reduce aging AR.
• Monitor revenue cycle metrics and drive improvements in billing accuracy and reimbursement.
• Identify reimbursement opportunities and optimize charge capture with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements, CMS regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare reporting for leadership on operational performance and financial results.
