Nicklaus Children Health System (NCHS) seeks a value analysis leader to guide clinical review, evaluation and procurement of products, leading multidisciplinary teams across hospital sites to reduce variation, utilization, and costs through consensus programs.

The role collaborates with Critical Care, Post-Operative areas, and executive nursing to review contracts, gather clinician feedback, and support implementation and conversions of products.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from a state-approved nursing program.
• RN licensure in Florida or eNLC, active and in good standing.
• 3 years of leadership/management experience.
• 5 years as a nurse in an acute care setting.
• Experience with medical supplies, supply chain operations, or cost-benefit analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Lead value analysis projects across NCHS aligned with strategy and goals.
• Analyze product research, outcomes data, and finances to optimize costs.
• Liaise with Supply Chain, GPOs, vendors, hospital leaders, and medical staff for cost-effective utilization.
• Coordinate product evaluations and financial reviews representing stakeholders.
• Develop and integrate cost-management programs with department leaders.
• Provide clinical and strategic expertise to manage supply expenses while improving quality.
• Monitor evaluations and maintain standard processes.
• Review hospital benchmarks to identify savings opportunities.
• Facilitate value analysis committees and sub-teams.
• Evaluate kits vs components for cost-effectiveness; reusable vs disposable.
• Ensure trials are unbiased and professional.
• Prepare VAT meeting agendas with team leaders.
• Educate staff on new products and conversions; reduce variance.
• Develop and facilitate product evaluations and validations with end-users.
• Stay updated with clinical/operational evidence.
• Provide interactive model and involve physicians in selection and cost discussions.
• Partner with Finance to model financial impacts.
• Collaborate with Risk Management on recalls.
