Job summary

Advanced Asset Management (AAM Living) seeks an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of multifamily assets. You will partner with ownership, leadership, property operations, accounting, leasing, and maintenance to maximize NOI and drive value through business plans, budgeting, and capital strategies.

Responsibilities include analyzing performance, preparing ownership reports, monitoring KPIs, and guiding asset teams to pursue value-add opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years in multifamily property management, asset management, portfolio management or related field.
• Strong understanding of multifamily operations, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Experience analyzing income statements, rent rolls, occupancy and NOI.
• Proficient with Excel, dashboards, PivotTables and data analysis.
• Familiarity with property management/financial systems (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, AppFolio).
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and operational performance of assigned multifamily assets.
• Develop and execute asset business plans to improve NOI, occupancy, revenue, and asset value.
• Review budgets, forecasts, financials, rent rolls and variance reports to identify trends.
• Monitor KPIs: revenue, expenses, occupancy, collections, turnover and NOI.
• Collaborate with Operations and Accounting to address performance gaps and costs.
• Evaluate leasing, pricing, renewal and revenue strategies to grow occupancy and revenue.
• Oversee capital improvements, repairs, renovations and value-add initiatives.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly performance reports for ownership and leadership.
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence and refinancing as needed.
• Build strong relationships with ownership and internal teams to drive accountability.
