Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Vice President of Valuation to lead and oversee complex valuation engagements for the firm’s financial advisory practice. You will mentor and guide valuation professionals, work closely with clients on strategic financial matters, and contribute to the development of methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• CPA/CVA/AVA/AMAA or similar credentials are desirable.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses.
• 6+ years in business valuation or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and client-facing projects.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation modeling, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Willingness to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation engagements from strategy through final delivery.
• Manage project execution, timelines, and quality control.
• Review valuation analyses, reports, and deliverables for accuracy.
• Mentor valuation professionals and serve as SME.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve methodologies and processes.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support business development.
• Monitor engagements and resolve project-related challenges.
• Stay current on valuation trends and regulatory developments.
