Job summary

Landing Point seeks an Analyst/Associate, Valuation Specialist to oversee investment valuations across its Senior Lending and Private Equity businesses. Responsibilities include assisting in quarterly and monthly valuation procedures, liaising with third-party firms, and supporting stress testing and analyses.

The role requires 2-4 years of private valuation experience and a strong academic record, with a CFA designation or candidacy considered a plus.

Qualifications

2-4 years of private valuation experience.
Experience with modeling and valuation techniques for mark-to-market private debt and equity investments.
CFA designation or candidacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in quarter-end full valuation procedures through approval by the Valuation Committee and independent boards.
Assist in month-end bringdown valuation procedures, including third-party positive assurance for applicable funds.
Assist in daily valuation procedures for applicable funds.
Assist in structured finance valuation procedures for applicable products.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal debt and equity valuation models.
Assist with preparation and presentation of valuation packages, highlighting results, drivers, and themes.
Serve as primary coverage on a portion of the portfolio, analyzing complex investments and challenging assumptions.
