Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks a Valuation Services Manager to lead complex engagements for external clients and support internal audit initiatives. You will direct teams across pre-deal valuation, financial reporting, tax valuation, and portfolio valuation, ensuring rigorous analysis and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• CFA and/or ASA credential preferred.
• 5+ years of valuation services experience in public accounting, consulting, investment banking, or similar.
• Expertise across pre-deal valuation, PPA, tax valuation, portfolio valuation, and impairment analyses.
• Advanced financial modeling, accounting, corporate finance, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of AI technologies and platforms in valuation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage valuation engagements from planning through delivery for external clients and internal audit support initiatives.
• Serve as day-to-day project leader across a diverse portfolio of valuation services including pre-deal valuation, financial reporting, tax valuation, and portfolio valuation engagements.
• Partner with practice leadership on business development initiatives, client relationships, and market expansion.
• Represent the firm through presentations, conferences, and thought leadership activities.
• Identify and manage project risks while maintaining high-quality client service and profitability.
• Mentor, coach, and develop professionals across the valuation team.
• Evaluate staff performance through engagement reviews and year-end assessment processes.
• Drive innovation by integrating AI-enabled solutions into valuation processes and client engagements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to deliver comprehensive solutions.
