Job summary

TalentPartners is assisting a top global private equity investment firm in hiring a Valuation Manager to join its growing Finance team in New York. The role focuses on overseeing the daily valuation process for assigned funds, guiding valuation models per ASC 820, and coordinating with audit and reporting teams.

You will drive process improvements and leverage AI automation to enhance valuation workflows, while preparing materials for firm leadership and investors.

Short Overview Of What You'll Do

• Oversee the day-to-day valuation process for assigned funds, including deliverable tracking, model reviews, and ad hoc requests.
• Guide deal teams through valuation models in line with firm policy and ASC 820 / external reporting standards.
• Assess key assumptions across income, market, OPM, and other methodologies underlying portfolio company valuations.
• Manage and support annual, internal, and interim audit reviews in partnership with Accounting, Compliance, and Investor Services.
• Drive enhancements to valuation processes, technology platforms, and AI automation capabilities.
• Prepare and present valuation materials to firm leadership, business unit heads, and investors.
