WhiteCap Search in Greenwich, CT seeks an experienced valuation professional to join the Security Valuation group and ensure timely, accurate valuations compliant with regulatory standards. You will lead end-to-end processes and collaborate with fund treasury, risk, compliance, and legal teams.

The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in valuation methodologies and derivatives, and the ability to manage third-party providers and complex models.

Qualifications

  • Experience with valuation methodologies and model evaluation.
  • Understanding of corporate actions and their impact on valuations.
  • Knowledge of derivatives and valuation setup requirements.
  • Experience with complex valuation models and regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with SEC Rule 2a-5 and UCITS preferred.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in complex scenarios.
  • Experience with auditors and third-party service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end valuation processes, including governance and fair value determinations.
  • Develop valuation strategies and improve processes for scalability and control.
  • Engage in daily valuation activities, assessing complex positions and pricing exceptions.

About The Team

Role Overview

This position is within the Security Valuation group, overseeing valuation functions across various fund structures. The role ensures timely, accurate valuations that comply with regulatory standards.
