Job summary

Berkeley Research Group, LLC (BRG) is seeking a Senior Associate in Valuation within Corporate Finance to join a collaborative team that serves hedge funds, PE funds, lenders, and corporate clients. You will supervise junior staff and contribute to complex valuation engagements, using Excel-based models and tools like Capital IQ and Bloomberg.

A successful candidate has 2–4 years of valuation experience and progress toward ASA certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 2–4 years of valuation experience, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm.
• Experience leading development and completion of client-ready valuation deliverables.
• Significant progress toward ASA designation or similar designation is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical and projected financial information.
• Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
• Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
• Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
• Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
• Present thorough valuation analyses to clients consistent with project scope.
• Experience with option pricing models (Black Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred.
