Senior Associate – Valuation – Corporate Finance
BRG Transaction and Valuation Opinions provides valuation services in support of transaction opinions, portfolio valuation, tax and financial reporting, litigation, and special situations. We work with leading hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, limited partners, lenders, corporations, boards of directors, independent directors, and attorneys.
We look for individuals with proven management skills, strong financial modeling abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with industry specialists. The role involves leading valuation engagements, coaching junior staff, and developing business development capabilities.
Responsibilities
Technical
- Analyze historical and projected financial information.
- Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
- Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models.
- Manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Excel.
- Leverage Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other financial data platforms.
- Present thorough valuation analyses to clients.
- Experience with option pricing models (Black–Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred.

- Take ownership of work product, including analyses developed by junior staff.

- Effectively manage the deadlines of the project tasks undertaken by junior staff.

- Actively participate in BRG’s business development activities, including client meetings and presentations.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Two to four years of prior valuation work experience, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm.
- Experience as a key team member leading the development and completion of client-ready valuation deliverables.
- Progress toward an ASA designation or similar designation is viewed favorably.
- Must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
Salary Range: $80,000-135,000
