Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to perform machine controls validation and testing, collect performance data, and troubleshoot CAN, Ethernet, and control systems on heavy/off-highway equipment.

The role supports software flashing, calibration, and system integration in field and lab environments. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field and at least 1 year of experience in controls engineering or testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
• 1+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, Validation, or Testing.
• Experience with machine controls, CAN communication, and Ethernet networks.
• Familiarity with software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
• Experience with data collection, troubleshooting, and validation testing.
• Exposure to heavy equipment, automotive, or off-highway machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine controls validation and testing.
• Collect, analyze, and report machine performance data.
• Troubleshoot control systems, CAN, and Ethernet communication issues.
• Support software flashing, calibration, and system integration activities.
• Conduct field testing on heavy/off-highway equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve machine performance.
