Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to perform machine controls validation and testing, collect performance data, and troubleshoot CAN and Ethernet communication in field and lab environments.

You will collaborate with engineering teams on software flashing, calibration, and system integration, with exposure to heavy machinery and off-highway equipment. A relevant engineering degree and 1+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• 1+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, Validation, or Testing.
• Experience with CAN communication and Ethernet networks.
• Familiarity with software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
• Experience with data collection, troubleshooting, and validation testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine controls validation and testing.
• Collect, analyze, and report machine performance data.
• Troubleshoot control systems, CAN, and Ethernet issues.
• Support software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
• Conduct field testing on heavy/off-highway equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve machine performance.
