Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a hardware-in-the-loop/software validation engineer in the United States for embedded ECUs. The role focuses on validating HIL/SIL, developing automated test scripts in Python and using dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, CAN/J1939, and Vector tools.

Collaboration with software, controls, and validation teams is essential to ensure quality and performance. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–4 years of experience in embedded software or ECU validation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in Embedded Software, HIL/SIL testing, or ECU validation.
Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Execute HIL/SIL validation testing for embedded software and ECU systems.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and validation tools.
Configure and troubleshoot dSPACE, Vector, and embedded test environments.
Perform software/hardware verification, defect analysis, and root-cause investigations.
Support embedded controls testing with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development tools.
Validate communication protocols such as CAN/J1939 and diagnostics testing.
Collaborate with software developers, controls engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
Analyze test results, generate reports, and recommend corrective actions.
