Validation/Emulation Engineer

Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute emulation and validation test plans for new products
- Develop scalable lab validation infrastructure, including scripts and hardware setups
- Design and debug emulation system hardware
- Set up and maintain software tool flows supporting RTL synthesis to FPGA
- Define and execute experiments to support product design
- Debug and troubleshoot lab setup issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5 to 10 years of validation engineering experience
- Extensive experience verifying digital and analog circuits and system performance
- Strong ability to architect lab validation environments, including test bench setups and software environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, along with project leadership capabilities
- Understanding of silicon, board hardware, and software interactions, including customer usage models
- PCB design skills for high-performance analog and digital circuits; FPGA integration and serial communication buses experience is highly desired
- Experience creating or maintaining RTL images for emulation; Verilog development is highly desired
- Ability to develop statements of work for experiments and develop test solutions accordingly
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multi-meters, frequency domain signal analyzers, and analog test equipment
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl and/or Matlab is highly desired
- Basic skills in statistical analysis
