Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown is seeking a dependable, guest-focused Valet Supervisor to lead the valet team and ensure a smooth, welcoming parking experience for every guest.

The role requires supervisory experience and a strong commitment to safety and service. You will coordinate operations, train staff, and maintain records while delivering exceptional guest interactions and support across hotel departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in valet, hospitality, parking, or customer service is required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of guest vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily operations of the valet team.
• Lead by example and provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests and visitors.
• Coordinate vehicle drop-off, retrieval, and parking operations efficiently.
• Assign team members to valet positions and ensure adequate coverage throughout each shift.
• Train, coach, and mentor valet attendants on guest service, safety, and hotel procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicles, keys, and parking transactions.
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and service issues professionally and promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and security of guest vehicles and personal belongings.
• Monitor the valet area for cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Communicate effectively with the Front Desk, Guest Services, and other hotel departments.
• Assist with resolving operational issues and escalating concerns to management when necessary.
• Ensure all hotel policies, safety procedures, and service standards are followed.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing needs as required.
