Job summary

Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown is hiring friendly Valet Drivers to warmly greet guests and provide professional valet service. You will Safely park and retrieve vehicles and assist guests with luggage while maintaining records and coordinating with Front Desk.

We welcome candidates with hospitality or customer service experience; training is available. This is a full-time or part-time position with hourly pay plus tips, in a welcoming Canopy by Hilton setting in Ithaca.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Hospitality or customer service experience preferred but training may be provided.
• Friendly, professional, and reliable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide professional valet service.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Assist guests with loading/unloading luggage as needed.
• Maintain accurate vehicle and key records.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and hotel departments to meet guest needs.

What You’ll Do

Greet guests warmly and provide professional valet service.

Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner.

Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage when needed.

Maintain accurate vehicle and key records.

Communicate with the Front Desk and other hotel departments to support guest needs.

Keep the valet area clean, organized, and safe.

Provide directions and helpful information about the hotel and surrounding area.

Handle guest questions and requests with a positive, professional attitude.

Follow all hotel safety procedures and valet policies.

What We’re Looking For

Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Previous valet, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate .

Friendly, professional, and reliable.

Comfortable driving and parking a variety of vehicles.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
