Job summary

Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown is looking for a dependable Valet Driver to greet guests and provide professional valet service at the front of the hotel. Full-time and part-time positions are available with competitive hourly pay plus tips.

You will park and retrieve vehicles, assist with loading luggage, keep records, and coordinate with front desk and other teams. Must be comfortable outdoors and able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Previous valet, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Friendly, professional, and reliable.
• Comfortable driving and parking a variety of vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide professional valet service.
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage when needed.
• Maintain accurate vehicle and key records.
• Communicate with the Front Desk and other hotel departments to support guest needs.
• Keep the valet area clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide directions and helpful information about the hotel and surrounding area.
• Handle guest questions and requests with a positive, professional attitude.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures and valet policies.
