Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee is seeking a Valet Shift Manager to lead daily valet operations, ensure security of guest vehicles, and deliver outstanding guest service.

You will plan and direct shift activities, train and motivate team members, and enforce DOT rules and internal controls. The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required and 1 year of valet driving experience is preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience is required.
• Prior knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, preferred.
• Must have a valid, unexpired Wisconsin Driver’s License.
• Must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• The ability to successfully achieve Responsible Alcohol certification within 90 days.
• Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and general knowledge of Microsoft Office. Prior experience working with a point-of-sale system is preferred.
• The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
• The ability to interact with guests and team members at all levels of the organization professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups.
• The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• The team member must be able to operate a personal computer/POS system and may be required to lift up to 60 pounds with assistance.

Responsabilités

• Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training.
• Plan, direct, and monitor daily valet operations on assigned shift.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings, establish reports, and attend department operation meetings.
• Delegate tasks effectively and anticipate guest and team member needs.
• Use independent judgement to resolve difficult guest situations.
• Adhere to all DOT rules and regulations.
• Assist in processing all valet transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Control pace and quantity of production, minimizing downtime.
• Ensure safe storage and proper handling of guest items; comply with internal controls.
