Job summary

Towne Park LLC is seeking a Guest Service Captain at the Westin Hotel, Downtown Cleveland. You’ll orchestrate service with coworkers to meet hotel standards, reporting to the Account Manager. The role is not a manager position but may involve judgment calls on expedient matters.

Starting pay is $14-$15 per hour, with additional tips of $7-$12 per hour. Medical benefits and a 401k plan are available. Various shifts and weekdays, weekends, and holidays are possible.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required.
• Work Experience: Six (6) months related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Licensure, Certification, etc.: Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers.
• Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. Checks in arriving guests and explains vehicle parking and retrieval procedures.
• Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; handles guest complaints calmly.
• Promotes teamwork; leads the work group; assigns roles and communicates schedule changes.
• Issues claim checks to guests after receiving vehicle keys and collects them before issuing keys.
