Job summary

Raphael hotel in Kansas City is seeking a part-time Valet & Parking Attendant to deliver top-notch service to guests. You will valet guest vehicles, assist with luggage, and coordinate with front desk to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of local attractions, safety procedures, and hotel amenities, while greeting guests and handling luggage with care. A clean DMV record and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Clean DMV driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours).
• Able to perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Valet park guest vehicles following safety procedures and laws.
• Escort guests to their car, room, or outlet.
• Deliver packages and amenities to guest rooms.
• Assist guests with luggage.
• Push a bell cart.
• Greet guests and open doors.
• Store guest luggage in an organized fashion.
• Staff coat room for events.
• Assist guests with luggage removal from vehicles.
• Direct guests to the Front Desk to check in.
• Advise guests about outlets and amenities to cross-sell.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and navigation skills.
• Coordinate multiple pickups and drops-offs on a changing schedule.
• Handle luggage with proper security.
• Know general area attractions and hotel information.
• Maintain open communication across all shifts.

Requirements
