Job summary

Raphael hotel is seeking a part-time Valet & Parking Attendant. You will park guest vehicles, assist guests with luggage, deliver items to rooms, and greet guests as they arrive. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and coordinate pickups while staying aware of local attractions and hotel amenities.

You will escort guests to their car or room, assist with luggage, and help guests with information to cross-sell hotel outlets. Flexibility to work varied shifts and maintain safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Must provide a clean DMV driving record.
• Able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours or more.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle repetitive motions.
• Strong communication, navigation and guest service skills.

• Maintain general knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions and events.
• Valet park guest vehicles following safety procedures and laws.
• Escort guests to their car, room or outlet and greet guests at entry.
• Deliver packages and amenities to guest rooms; assist with luggage.
• Push bell cart; coordinate multiple pickups and drop-offs on schedule.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and open communication across shifts.
• Cross-sell knowledge about outlets and hotel amenities.

• Maintain general knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and events


• Valet park guest vehicles while following safety procedures, applicable laws and ordinances


• Escort guests to their car, room, or outlet


• Deliver packages, amenities, etc. to guest rooms


• Assist guests with luggage


• Push bell cart


• Greet guests and open doors as they enter and exit the hotel


• Store guest luggage in an organized fashion


• Staff coat room for events


• Assist guests with removing luggage from their vehicles


• Direct guest to the Front Desk to check in


• Assist guests with knowledge about outlets and amenities in order to cross-sell


• Maintain vehicle cleanliness


• Strong analytical and navigation skills


• Able to coordinate multiple pick-ups and drop-offs on a schedule under continuously changing circumstances


• Hold luggage with proper security precaution


• General area attractions and hotel knowledge


• Maintain an open communication line through all shifts

Requirements

• Must be able to provide clean DMV driving record for consideration


• Sufficient manual dexterity in hands to be able to load and unload luggage


• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more


• Able to stoop and bend


• Able to lift up to 50 pounds


• Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
