TownePlace Suites Salt Lake City - Downtown is hiring a part-time valet for Saturdays and Sundays, 3pm–11pm. You will warmly welcome guests, park and retrieve cars, and assist with parking procedures and local information. This role requires a 21+ status, a valid license, and reliable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver license with clean driving record.
• A calm, service-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
• Ability to effectively monitor hotel for any safety/security issues.
• Strong communication skills.
• This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, walking and running during high business levels to retrieve cars.
• High school education or equivalent experience is required, with prior customer service experience helpful.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred

Responsibilities

As Valet, you will greet guests in a professional manner as they arrive at the hotel, ensuring their needs are met. Guests will feel at ease when they leave their car with you or request for a car to be ready for their early departure.

Duties include:

• Extend a warm, friendly welcome to arriving guests.
• Carefully and efficiently park, secure, and retrieve vehicles.
• Respond helpfully to guest questions about the property, getting around and nearby happenings.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Graciously assist guests with issues arising out of the parking experience.
• Making sure all public areas/walkways are safe and clutter‑free. (This includes helping Maintenance Department in the winter with snow removal).
• Consistently demonstrate conscientious cash handling in accordance with departmental procedures
