TownePlace Suites Salt Lake City - Downtown is seeking an overnight Valet to join our award-winning team. The full-time position runs Fridays through Mondays, 11pm–7am, requiring a 21+ driver license, clean record, and background check.

You will greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and respond to questions during the overnight shift. You will also maintain safety, assist guests with parking procedures, and support the Maintenance team in winter.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+; pass a mandatory background check and drug test
• Must possess a valid driver license with clean driving record
• Calm, service-oriented demeanor
• Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
• Ability to monitor hotel for safety/security issues
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Extend a warm, friendly welcome to arriving guests.
• Carefully and efficiently park, secure, and retrieve vehicles.
• Respond helpfully to guest questions about the property, getting around and nearby happenings.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Graciously assist guests with issues arising out of the parking experience.
• Make sure all public areas/walkways are safe and clutter-free; assist Maintenance in winter snow removal.
• Demonstrate conscientious cash handling in accordance with procedures

Come join our award-winning team as an overnight Valet at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in downtown Salt Lake City. Position is full-time, Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays/Mondays, OVERNIGHT 11pm-7am. Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test, have a valid driver license and clean driving record. Pay is hourly with potential for tips.

As Valet, you will greet guests in a professional manner as they arrive at the hotel during the overnight hours, ensuring their needs are met. Guests will feel at ease when they leave their car with you or request for a car to be ready for their early departure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver license with clean driving record
• A calm, service-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
• Ability to effectively monitor hotel for any safety/security issues.
• Strong communication skills.
• This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, walking and running during high business levels to retrieve cars.
• High school education or equivalent experience is required, with prior customer service experience helpful.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred
