Job summary

Renaissance Saint Elm Dallas Downtown is seeking an entry-level valet attendant to greet guests, assist with luggage, escort them to rooms, and support shuttle operations.

A high school education is required; a valid driver's license, good communication, and basic computer skills are essential. Prior hospitality experience is a plus. This on-site position offers varied shifts in a bustling hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic.
• Must have excellent customer relations skills.
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must possess basic computer skills (Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS).
• Must have valid driver license and meet company insurance requirements for operation of motorized or electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort to rooms; assist with luggage and safety features.
• Provide information about hotel services, attractions, and outlets.
• Store luggage and assist with loading/unloading luggage from vehicles.
• Call taxis for guests as requested.
• Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork; supervise baggage transfers and deliveries.
• Maintain the check-in area for appearance and efficiency.
• Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies.
