Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Huntington, located in Huntington, WV, seeks a courteous valet/bellman to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and escort guests to rooms. You will inform guests about hotel services and local attractions, ensuring a seamless arrival and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities include transporting luggage, guiding guests, and performing valet duties while maintaining safety and confidentiality. Prior guest relations experience and bilingual English/Spanish are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of hotel’s operations.
• Excellent driving record (This is Mandatory!)
• Due to the nature of our insurance, driver must be 21+.
• Ability to provide legible communication and directions.
• Previous guest relations and/or training.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Transport guest luggage to/from guest rooms and escort guests to rooms.
• Inform guests of hotel services and features during arrival and stay.
• Attend to immediate guest needs and follow through throughout stay.
• Perform valet duties—driving, parking, and retrieving vehicles safely and courteously.
