Job summary

FirstService Residential in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a friendly, customer-service driven associate to greet residents and guests, assist with baggage and packages, and provide information on hotel services, shopping, dining and local directions.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, a valid Florida driver's license, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:00pm-12:00am (Mon & Thurs off).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver License.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests and assist with baggage and package handling.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
• Maintains equipment in working condition and reports any maintenance issue for repair.
• Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues.

Job Overview:

This position is customer service driven, outgoing, friendly and enjoys people. Greets residents and guests as they arrive and depart and offers baggage, package, grocery, parking, and information assistance.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the needs of arriving and departing residents.
• Greets and assists residents and guests with baggage and package handling.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
• Maintains equipment in working condition and reports any maintenance issue for repair.
• Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Sills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver License
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Previous similar experienced preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Heavy lifting required (baggage handling); ability to lift 50 – 100 lbs.
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain).
• Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
• Ability to navigate the property/ building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions.
• Complete all required forms.
• Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends required.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
