FirstService Residential in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a friendly, customer-service driven team member to assist residents and visitors with baggage, packages, parking, and information.

You will greet guests, handle inquiries about hotel services, assist with registration, and ensure safety while maintaining a high standard of service. This full-time role requires flexible weekend hours and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver License.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multilingual abilities desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Previous similar experience preferred.

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 4:00pm-12am (Mon & Thurs OFF)

Job Overview

This position is customer service driven, outgoing, friendly and enjoys people. Greets residents and guests as they arrive and depart and offers baggage, package, grocery, parking, and information assistance.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the needs of arriving and departing residents.
• Greets and assists residents and guests with baggage and package handling.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
• Maintains equipment in working condition and reports any maintenance issue for repair.
• Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Sills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver License
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Previous similar experienced preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Heavy lifting required (baggage handling); ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs.
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain).
• Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
• Ability to navigate the property/ building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions.
• Complete all required forms.
• Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends required.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
