Metropolis Technologies, the largest parking network in America with over 4,000 locations across North America and Europe, is hiring a Valet Driver for our Staten Island, NY operations. We use computer vision to power checkout-free parking, and we need safe drivers with warm smiles who enjoy interacting with people.

About the Valet Driver Role

This full-time position offers the chance to join a knowledgeable, caring team where many current leaders started as valets. You'll deliver on our promise by making every moment count for our clients through efficient service and proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently while communicating proactively with customers.
• Inspect every vehicle before parking, noting all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers clearly.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major streets, landmarks, and freeways to ensure seamless customer transportation.
• Arrive in clean uniform on time for every scheduled shift and remain in uniform throughout.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.
• Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends).
• Proof of legal eligibility to work in the U.S. with valid documentation if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add and subtract US currency, and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events.

Compensation and Benefits

This role earns $17.00/hr plus tips, with tips earned in addition to the posted hourly rate. Physical Requirements
