Job summary

Northfield Park Racino is seeking a courteous Valet Attendant to warmly greet guests at the valet entrance and provide efficient parking services. You’ll collect claim checks, retrieve vehicles, assist guests with special needs, and guide traffic flow to prevent delays.

Responsibilities include answering questions about restaurants, events and activities, reporting issues to security or supervisors, and maintaining guest satisfaction with professional, attentive service.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in service roles preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance and provide courteous, efficient valet parking services.
• Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for departure.
• Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid.
• Report issues to security or supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance.
• Assist in regulating movement and flow of vehicles to prevent congestion.
• Answer guest questions about restaurants, events and activities.
• Resolve guest problems within authority or refer to the supervisor on duty.
• Report alleged thefts or missing items to supervisor and/or hotel security for investigation.
