Job summary

The Monsaraz San Diego, California is seeking a Bellman/Valet to warmly greet guests, assist with luggage, and manage vehicle parking and retrieval with a focus on safety and hospitality.

You will open doors, check guests in, and provide directions and local recommendations while maintaining a professional, proactive service mindset. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Customer Service in a guest contact role preferred.
• Ability to drive vans, limousines and automobiles and possess a valid driver’s license and have an excellent driving record as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report preferred.
• Second language may be desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests within 30 seconds of arrival and deliver “Aggressive Hospitality.”
• Open vehicle and hotel doors, check in arriving guests, and explain parking and retrieval procedures.
• Park and retrieve vehicles quickly but cautiously, staying composed under pressure and handling guest concerns.
• Provide bell services, including room presentations and delivering or picking up items.
• Help guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other requests, using knowledge of the resort and local attractions.
