Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a friendly, attentive guest services associate to greet guests, assist with check‑in/out, help with luggage, and answer questions about hotel facilities and local attractions. You will maintain lobby areas, explain services, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every guest.

From driving vans and coordinating airport pickups to supporting the front desk with key inventory, you will contribute to a high standard of hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Customer service in a guest contact role preferred.
• Ability to drive vans, limousines and cars with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with check-in and checkout.
• Assist guests with luggage and escort to rooms when needed.
• Explain hotel facilities, hours of operation and respond to inquiries.
• Check luggage for guests and maintain lobby and bell stand cleanliness.
• Post daily events and entertainment boards in the lobby; maintain open communication across shifts.
• Provide van driving and airport pickup/drop-off duties and assist front desk with key inventory.

Keep lobby door and windows clean when not busy with guests.Post the daily events board and entertainment board in the lobby.Maintain an open communication line through all shifts by proper use of interdepartmental shift log.Deliver messages and valet to guest rooms.Van Driver will perform pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport for the guests in a timely, friendly and professional manner and inspect vehicles.Perform the duties of a valet.Assist front desk with key inventory twice weekly.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESHigh school education or equivalent experience.Customer Service in a guest contact role preferred.Ability to communicate with guests, respond to questions and inquires,knowledge of hotel services, local area events and activities. Ability to drive vans, limousines and automobiles and possess a valid driver’s license and have an excellent driving record as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report preferred. Second language may be desired.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs.
