Job summary

Life Care Services is seeking a Valet Attendant at Sagewood in Phoenix, AZ. This part-time role pays $18/hour with a 24-hour weekly schedule (Tue/Sat/Sun 9:00–5:30). Vaccination is required, and duties include delivering packages and assisting residents.

You will assist with transporting items, escorting residents, and may back up the Concierge. Excellent customer service and basic computer skills are essential in a warm senior-living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Requires a valid AZ driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Excellent customer service with hospitality.
• Able to communicate and read effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; comfortable with computers.
• Physically capable of walking, standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds.
• Patient and compassionate when interacting with residents from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide package receiving and deliveries and related services.
• Transport groceries, luggage, dry cleaning, and other items to and from resident homes.
• Escort or transport residents using a golf cart.
• Serve as back-up to the Concierge when needed.
• This is not a car parking position.

Schedule: Tuesday 9am-5:30pm/Saturday 9am-5:30pm/Sunday 9am-5:30pm (24 hours per week)

Days, hours may be adjusted during holiday peak season.

Our Sagewood and Acacia Health Center is recruiting a Valet.

In this role you are providing package receiving/deliveries along with other services. These services will include transporting groceries, luggage, dry cleaning, or other items to and from resident homes. You will transport residents using a golf cart or escorting. This position will also be trained as a back-up to the Concierge, if needed. This is not a car parking position.

Who are you:

• Must be 18 years or older with a satisfactory driving record (must have a current AZ driver’s license).
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Great customer service with hospitality.
• Must be able to communicate and read effectively in English with residents and have adequate reading skills applicable delivering items.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Must be comfortable working with computers.
• Physical fitness, ability to walk, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands. Typically lifting up to 40 pounds with the ability to push/pull up to 250 pounds.
• Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from diverse backgrounds.
