Description

Under supervision, perform a variety of operations involved in driving and parking vehicles for guests. The duties include maintaining excellent customer service standards; issuing ticket receipts after inspecting and documenting any prior vehicle damage; retrieving vehicles in a timely manner; collecting and securing cash and issuing receipts; writing down vehicle information and location on valet ticket; tagging and maintaining keys; and performing other duties as assigned. Ensure that appropriate service standards are maintained with all front-line staff. Resolve visitor issues to meet the service expectations of UC San Diego Health. Perform additional duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license, have a driving record that complies with local policies, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
• Relevant experience required.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Skills, knowledge, and ability essential for the duties assigned.

• Willingness to work various times and locations based on business needs.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Range: Annual Full Pay Range: $42,386 - $54,810 (pro-rated if less than 100% appointment); Hourly: $20.30 - $26.25.
