Join Our Team at the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion

Location and opening details: Scheduled to open July 2025 in Hillcrest, the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion is a state-of-the-art, 250,000-square-foot medical facility spanning six floors. It hosts key clinical programs and offers specialized diagnostic, treatment, and surgical services, with a focus on cancer care, in a patient-centered environment.

Position Overview

Under supervision, perform a variety of operations involved in driving and parking vehicles for guests. Responsibilities include maintaining excellent customer service standards, issuing tickets, inspecting vehicles for damage, retrieving vehicles, handling cash and receipts, documenting vehicle information, tagging keys, and other duties as assigned. Ensure service standards are maintained and resolve visitor issues to meet UC San Diego Health expectations. Serves as backup to Supervisor during absences.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in accordance with local policies; enrollment in the California Employer Pull Notice Program preferred.
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to perform assigned duties effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
Special Conditions
  • Willingness to work various times and locations based on business needs.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and driving test.
  • Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Employment is subject to background check and physical examination.
Additional Information

Pay Transparency Act: Full annual pay range is $44,892 - $59,278, prorated if less than full-time. Hourly range: $21.50 - $28.39. Compensation factors include experience, skills, education, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. The referenced pay scale is an estimate; actual salary may vary based on internal factors.
