Job summary

The Bidwell Marriott Portland, part of Sage Hospitality, is seeking a valet attendant to provide prompt and courteous guest service. You will meet guests arriving by various transport modes, assist with luggage, and escort them to the lobby while explaining parking procedures and fees.

Under supervision, you will park vehicles securely, document key details, and assist the Doorman with guest arrivals and departures. A valid driver's license and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Must have general knowledge of customer service and be fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Must be able to drive automatic and manual vehicles and hold a valid driver's license.
• Driving record must meet insurer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests arriving by all transportation modes.
• Assist guests with luggage from vehicles and escort into the lobby.
• Explain valet procedures and parking fees to guests.
• Provide directions to registration and assist with check-in as needed.
• Park vehicles securely and tag keys with guest details.
• Drive vehicles safely and courteously, offering local information when asked.
• Respond to guest questions about transportation, hotel services, and local events.
• Maintain professional courtesy to guests, colleagues, and vendors.
• Greet guests within 5 feet of the valet area in public spaces.
