Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking an experienced Coordinator-RN VAD Program to lead, coordinate, and optimize care for patients with Ventricular Assist Devices and Destination Therapy. You will handle program accreditation, data management, and multidisciplinary coordination in a Magnet-recognized academic medical center.

The role requires an RN with strong cardiovascular expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to engage with patients, families, and a diverse care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required.
• Master's Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate access to care based on established criteria.
• Maintain VAD/DT accreditation data and performance metrics.
• Educate first responders and Emergency Departments on VAD concepts.
• Perform home visits to evaluate electrical status and the patient’s ability to support a VAD.
• Collaborate with leadership to sustain accreditation and quality improvement.
