Keck Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, CA seeks an RN Coordinator for the VAD Transplant Program. You will provide nursing care for VAD and cardiothoracic transplant patients, coordinate care, education, and community resources, and serve as a liaison to referring physicians and EMS teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating and listing transplant candidates, updating INTERMACS per Joint Commission, managing waitlists, and coordinating clinic visits and tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master’s in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in California and BLS/ACLS.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care for VAD and cardiothoracic transplant patients.
• Coordinate inpatient/outpatient care and education for VAD patients.
• Act as liaison to physicians, families, EMS and community resources.
• Maintain waitlists and update INTERMACS per Joint Commission protocol.
• Participate in rounds, PI activities and on-call coverage as needed.
