Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking a Workshop Technician to assist with assembling, disassembling and testing of vacuum pumps on a weekly plan. You will work closely with the Team Leader to prioritize tasks, ensure quality, and meet customer due dates.

The role requires high school education or GED, at least 3 years in manufacturing, and the ability to read drawings and use hand and power tools. SAP familiarity is a plus, and on-site work in Solon, Ohio is expected.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED, preferably in a mechanical/technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and published specifications.

Responsibilities

• Wear the correct PPE and follow BAM processes and procedures.
• Meet daily production targets with respect to quality, volume and efficiency; collaborate with team members and Team Leader to establish priorities and meet customer due dates.
• Inspect parts, assemblies, and systems according to Work Instructions, drawings, schematics, or other technical data.
