Job summary

RECONN Construction Services National General Contractors is seeking a Vacuum Excavation Technician in Georgia to join our field team. You will travel to job sites and perform vacuum excavation around utilities using water/air pressure, documenting work on a company laptop.

This is a daytime, full-time role with paid training and benefits. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required; prior industry experience is not mandatory, and a safe driving record is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous vacuum excavation experience preferred.
• Previous road machine operator or hydro-vac experience preferred.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Clear communication with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners; customer service a plus.
• Able to pass a drug screen; safety-sensitive position.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned work sites to perform vacuum excavation.
• Excavate around utilities using vacuum with pressurized water or air.
• Document project work with company laptop.
• Perform core drilling, shoveling and backfilling; assist construction labor.
• Work outdoors in all weather; overtime may be required.
• Complete training provided; no industry experience required.
