Job summary

RECONN is hiring a Vacuum Excavation Technician to expose utilities for design and excavation, traveling to assigned sites. This daytime, full-time role involves core drilling, shoveling, backfilling, and construction labor, with outdoor work in all weather. Training will be provided and no prior industry experience is required.

Starting pay is $25-$30 per hour depending on experience. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous vacuum excavation experience preferred
• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned work site to perform vacuum excavation
• Perform vacuum excavation activities near utilities, including core drilling, shoveling, backfilling, and construction labor
• Operate outdoors in all weather conditions and document project progress
• Use company equipment and systems to document work and ensure safety standards
