Job summary

Under a project mentor, you will perform benchwork to execute and optimize downstream purification processes, analyze results, and support technology transfer to manufacturing. The role offers 4-6 months in 2027 with hybrid work arrangements and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation and adaptability.
• Must be able to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions and comply with company policies.
• Must have proven ability to work in hands-on laboratory setting.
• Must have effective organization, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work full-time for 4-6 months in 2027 (June - November or March - August)

Responsibilities

• Conduct benchwork to execute, optimize, and troubleshoot downstream process unit operations and basic analytical techniques.
• Contribute to development of new principles and methods to enable process development and scale-up to pilot and manufacturing scales.
• Design, execute, and analyze process development experiments to maximize understanding of purification bioprocesses for vaccine products.
• Summarize and present experimental results in a collaborative team environment.
• May work on pilot-scale campaigns for GMP manufacture of bulk clinical material and assist with campaign preparation, execution, and closeout.
